The Many Faces, Prestige Worldwide, Batteries Not Included, Blank Canvas and The Rolling Gnomes are all performing at the Grand in Clitheroe on the 22nd of October 2011.

Free Guitar Seminar with Paul Glover
Paul Glover (Berklee School of Music, Jeff Beck/ Steve Vai scholarship winner) and the Engine Rooms are offering a free taster seminar on September 15th 2011 7pm till 9pm _ The Engine Rooms Skelmersdale.
Paul after studying with the greatest musicians on the planet has put together his own group of seminars for all of you lucky people to get involved with, these will take the form of classes in
Blues - techniques and artist studies (Eric clapton-BB king etc)
Rock - techniques and artist studies (Led zeppelin-Jimmy Hendrix etc)
Chords and Scales - for players of all levels
Jazz - techniques and artist studies (Miles Davis-John Coltrane etc)
Funk and RnB Soloing - techniques and artist studies (Prince-Funkadelic etc)
The works of Steve Vai - song, technique and performance study of his greatest guitar compositions.(For the love of god-Building the church etc)
Paul in conjunction with The Engine Rooms is offering a free 2 hour introduction to the above lessons/ courses that can be enjoyed by any level of guitarist from beginner to professional and anywhere in between. You may just want to play a song or two or take your playing in a new direction or even hone the skills you already have, we guarantee there will be a future seminar for you.
This open night will introduce you to Paul and his passion for the Guitar, some of the many area's of playing covered by the classes, how the seminars are run and the materials you will leave with after the class so you can continue your studies at home. This is a drop in drop out form of lessons so you can pick your class when you want it at a reduced price to private one to one lessons. Classes also introduce you to other like minded players.

New Guitar Tutor Paul Glover
New guitar tutor Paul Glover will be bringing a new dimension to guitar tuition at The Engine Rooms in Skelmersdale, by introducing his pupils to the Berklee Sheen. Paul, who studied under world famous guitar virtuoso Steve Vai at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, said 'The Berklee Sheen is a method of advancing all of a students guitar techniques.'
'Getting someone with Paul's skills involved in The Engine Rooms teaching programme is a real coup' according to head tutor Terry Jacobsen.

Renovations Underway.
Improvements are well and truly under way, with two store rooms, more toilets and an office under construction. As each day goes by, The Engine Rooms improves a little bit more, whether that be the unique vinyl collage design on the cafe walls or the brand new furniture, coming together to create an inviting, relaxing environment for all to enjoy.
