Welcome to the Engine Rooms

 

The ENGINE ROOMS is a multi-arts centre based in Skelmersdale, Lancashire offering a wide range of facilities including Music Tuition, Music Rehearsal, Art Gallery, and Recording Studio. The Engine Rooms is also home to Westgate Studios LTD, Forward Motion CIC, Phone Records and Sugarman Records.

 

Our aim is to facilitate Arts and Culture in Skelmersdale and its surrounding areas, to provide an inclusive, safe and harmonious environment for people to explore, express and share their creativity, or simply enjoy the talents of the people they share their community with.

 

The ENGINE ROOMS has Full Disabled Access, and welcomes visitors from the whole community. We work closely with a number of leading organizations to develop and deliver the requirements of our customer’s individual needs to the highest standards possible.

Music Rehearsal Rooms

 

The ENGINE ROOMS has 2 soundproof, acoustic rehearsal rooms fitted with 700W P.A systems, air conditioning, internet / network access and industry standard microphones. Both Live Rooms are wired to our main control room enabling 16 Track Digital Recording.
